Embark on a trip to Sicily from Malta and discover the highlights of Eastern Siciliy in just one day

The Trip to Sicily – Mt. Etna and Taormina is full-day excursion that gives you an opportunity to sample Sicily, while you’re on holiday in Malta. The ride is just 90-minutes in a comfortable catamaran, that leaves from the Valletta Waterfront, arriving in the port of Pozzallo. We head north towards the busy city of Catania, with the guide explaining the history and the sights that should not be missed. We drive further, all the way up to Mount Etna, the famous volcano, and the accompanying Sylvester craters. There is time available for lunch and shopping of souvenirs and local products. In the afternoon, we proceed to the pretty town of Taormina that has impressive views over Giardini Naxos, and head back South to Pozzallo to depart to Malta by ferry. During the winter, Taormina is replaced by the town of Modica; an ancient baroque city hosting an impressive church.
