Palazzo Parisio gardens, probably the most beautiful gardens in Malta

Palazzo Parisio was built in the 19th century in the heart of Naxxar by Marquis Giuseppe Scicluna as his own private residence. He enriched the palace with artistic designs, refined architecture and charming gardens and today Palazzo Parisio is a one of the most beautiful and popular gardens in Malta.

The design of Palazzo Parisio is a fusion between Maltese and Italian culture and the gardens are filled with beautiful colourful flowers, green grass, interesting trees and greenhouses. Exotic species such as Banksia seratifoglia, Erythrina cristagalli, Jacaranda, Sapindus and Chorisia speciosa grow in the gardens as well as a large collection of hybrid Hibiscus, with over 60 plants of various colours.

A wall surrounds the gardens keeping it private, peaceful and tranquil. The gardens at Palazzo Parisio this is maintained by a complex water and irrigation system keeping the gardens beautiful and green all year round. Palazzo Parisio is also a very sought after wedding venue due to the magnificent Palazzo and beautiful gardens.

Lunch is also served in the gardens, however booking is recommended. Palazzo Parisio’s gardens are one of the finest in Malta and the only privately-owned gardens open to the public so make sure you visit them during your holiday in Malta.

    I think that these is the most beautiful garden in Malta. We come here for Sunday lunches and its just perfect. The Palazzo itself is really beautiful too, its worth visiting it once you are there.
