I bought my tickets before i arrive to Malta and they were sent to my house. We booked the tour beforehand and it all went smoothly.

I went to the sunset ride with my boyfriend and sister and I really enjoyed it. We were taken for a scenic hack to the nearby natural reserve.

The area is truly breathtaking, and would have been difficult to explore it so well any other way in the summer heat, as it is only accessible by foot. The terrain is very rugged and rocky so there's not much room for going fast, so it's more about taking in the scenery, which makes it suitable fro novice rides too — like myself.

It's medium sized stable run by a local family who keep the horses well, and have been very nice to us. They provided all the equipment and were not at all fussy about our outfit or experience.

I have gone on their 2 hour sunset ride several times and it is both beautiful and fun. My friends were beginners and they taken care of. Beginners can ride with a rope to feel better. We went in summer and we were with a big group so we could not trott.
