Armier Bay

Armier bay is a sandy beach in the North Malta, offering plenty of space to swim and sunbathe

Armier Bay is a beach situated in a green area known as L-Ahrax in the locality of Mellieha in northern Malta. During winter it is a quiet place facing the nearby islands of Comino and Gozo.  Armier Bay is made up of two beaches; a larger beach known as Armier and a smaller one called Little Armier. The beautiful sea surrounding Armier Bay is crystal blue and resembles the sea at Blue Lagoon not far away.

During summer, Armier Bay tends to get very busy during the weekends and is also a popular place on Mondays for post-village feast celebrations. However,  the Armier beaches are usually more quiet than other beaches since they’re not so accessible and there are no nearby hotels. The countryside area surrounding Armier Bay is great for a pleasant walk as well.

Bus: There are no buses going directly to Armier bay, but you can take a bus going to Mellieha and stop in front of the Red Tower. You can continue on foot by following the arrows.
