Malata restaurant offers fine French cuisine al fresco in the heart of Valletta

Malata restaurant is situated in the heart if the historical capital of Valletta, opposite the Grand Masters Palace.

Malata has refined its menu of fine French and Mediterranean cuisine for the past 5 years and utilises local ingredients to ensure freshness and quality. The chef suggests his speciality: the delicious Chateaubriand for two, with Sauce Bearnaise and Gratin Dauphinois Potatoes.

The restaurant serves both lunch and dinner al fresco on the large shaded terrace in summer and in winter dining is an experience itself in the 500 year old cellar with its vaulting ceilings.

Dining in this candlelit restaurant in the relaxing atmosphere being served by professional staff is a unique experience. A live Jazz band plays every Tuesday and Friday from 20:00 till around 23:00 with repertoires ranging from Latin Jazz, New Orleans and Classical to Swing and Contemporary.

The restaurant is located on the main square in Valletta, however unfortynaly we didn't get the chance to dine outside as it was full, so book in advance :)!
