Do Brazil

Do Brazil in Portomaso invites you to try the Full Churrasco Grill experience

Do Brazil is a new Brazilian restaurant located at the bottom of the lovely Portomaso Marina, in the heart of St Julian’s close to many other excellent restaurants.  Do Brazil means “from Brazil” and they serve the best of Brazilian cuisine in a stylish setting right by the sea. The famous Brazilian master chef Roger Evaristo prepares a large variety of hot and cold starters, perfectly cooked meats that come with various accompaniments.

Do Brazil promises quick and professional service since they have adapted the Rodizio serving system. Another option is enjoying the Do Brazil Salad Bar Buffet which offers 12 hot dishes and 20 cold dishes including Brazilian specialities such as Shrimp Bobo, Spicy Seafood Stew, Feijoada and Salada de Palmito, as well as Meat Rodizio, Fish or Vegetable Churrasco cooked to guests’ likings and served with a variety of different sausages. However if you want to try out the popular full Churrasco grill experience you have to dine in the evening.

All meat served in this restaurant is imported directly from South America and is an unusual alternative to the best selection of fresh fish and seasonal ingredients that can also be found at the farmers market. Prices at Do Brazil Malta are fixed so each table has a two-colour disc with one red side and one green side. Flip for green when you want to be served and flip for red when you are full or simple need a break. When you feel hungry again you can just flip back to green side and the staff will come and serve you. Bring your family as children under 6 years of age dine for free.

It's a really nice place for grilled meat, as they grill the meet on fire you can smell it as soon as you enter the restaurant and it really brings one's appetite! The portions are generous and the food tastes nice, the only thing I didn't like about it is that it was so badly lit. After all it's not a romantic date place — unless you want to impress your date with your ability to eat half a cow!
