Attard Parish Church

History of and information about the Parish Church of Attard

The parish church of Attard is dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in Heaven and was built in 1613 by Tommaso Dingli. Attard, however, became a parish already back in 1575. In 1718 a belfry was added to the parish church of Attard.
