San Lawrenz parish church in Gozo and its history

The San Lawrenz parish church is dedicated to the Saint Lawrenz saint and is the only village in Gozo to be named after its patron saint! The works on this parish church in Gozo started in 1886 and took 11 years to build. The San Lawrenze parish church was consecrated on 26 September 1897 and established a parish on 15 March 1893.
