Course in Women's wear Design

Get more knowledge in women's wear design

PlatinumPlusCourses present an interesting course in womenswear design, delivered by Amanda Abela, a UCA lecturer living in London. She works with top designers and teaches at the University of the Creative Art in London. 

This 15 hour seminar is aimed at young designers who wish to further their knowledge in womenswear design or even have the intention of starting their own fashion label. The topics covered include:

1.       Experimental design analysis
2.       Primary and secondary design research
3.       Refining design ideas for your chosen market
4.       Creating mood boards for colour selection
5.       Fabric awareness
6.       Basic figure-drawing techniques
7.       Exploring different media 

The course will be held between the 16th and 20th of July. All sessions last three hours and participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance in the end.
