Join the chestnut celebrations in Qormi, MaltaThe Chestnut Festival 2011 is held for the second consecutive year and celebrates chestnuts in many different and exciting ways. View cribs created out of chestnuts and try different sweet and savory delicacies made out of chestnuts and enjoy all the fun activities. This year a competition will be held with the traditional chestnut recipe of the St.Martin pie. There is something for everyone at this festival, the smaller once can have fun at the "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" attraction. This weekend offers a lot to chestnut lovers, so bring your friends and family and come along to the Chestnut Festival 2011 at the De la Cruz Garden in Qormi just in front of PAVI supermarket. The Chestnut Festival is also the perfect opportunity to try Maltese specialities. On Saturday the activities start at 19:00 and on Sunday at 10:00. The Chestnut Festival 2011 is organized by the Kummisjoni Żgħażagħ Bastjaniżi.
