The Female of the Species

This comedy is based on a true episode in Germaine Greer's feminist academic life. The strory is a delicate balance between satire and farce, showing that the female of the species is not only deadlier, but funnier, than the male.

While Margot Mason is doing her best to write a new best-seller, Molly Rivers, a former student of hers, enters her house and holds her at gunpoint. On the other hand, her daughter Tess is having a mid-life crisis and wants to know who her father is. And Bryan, her son-in-law is good for nothing, and therefore, useless.

The Female of the Species is held by Unifaun Theatre Productions, directed by Chiara Hyzler, while the cast includes Polly March, Maria Buckle, Laura Best, Anthony Ellul, Edward Mercieca and Chris Galea. The design of the set and by Aldo Moretti, an Italian Stage Designer Aldo Moretti.

The comedy will be held on the 24th, 25th, 26th February and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th and 11th March. Tickets are €12 for the first night and €15 for the rest of the performances, so if you're into exciting and hilarous theatre, don't miss out on this performance.
