The Death of Snow White, A Tragedy in 7 Days is a contemporary dance show based on the very famous fairy tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Naupaca Dance Factory is holding this show at the Aurora Theatre in Victoria Gozo on the 1st December 2012 and on 7th & 9th December it will take place in Malta - at The Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.

The Death of Snow White follows the original fairy tale but highlights the meanings related to death, revealing the darker vision of the human condition repressed within it. The show doesn't use dancing as a celebratory expression of bodily movement, but rather as a means to express the nature of death and the dying body. The Death of Snow White explores the tension that exists between the mythic and the sacred, the secular and the sublime.

The cast includes Marise Grech (Snow White), Deborah Agius (The Queen), Stepan Pechar (The Prince), Yana Dimech (The Mirror), Denise Buttigieg (Tempastas). The show is directed and choreographed by Joeline Tabone, coordinated by Deborah Agius, costumes and designs by Luke Azzopardi, scripting by Maria Theuma and original music by Lukas Grech."
