La Clemenza di Tito - Mozart

La Clemenza di Tito of Mozart will be broadcasted live as part of the Met Opera programme 2012-13 on 1st December 2012 with an encore on the 12th of January at 19:00.

This is Mozart’s final Italian opera, featuring a great cast conducted by Harry Bicket and led by Giuseppe Filianoti as the title character, a Roman emperor. Vitellia (Barbara Frittoli) is the daughter of a deposed ruler, who plans to assassinate Tito, but this plan is complicated by her romance with the Sesto (Elīna Garanča). Kate Lindsey and Lucy Crowe co-star as the young lovers Annio and Servilia. 

Tickets are €20, and for the encore performance, there are concessions for senior citizens, students, unemployed and special needs at €10, while children under 12 can get in for €5.
