Xlendi Summer Events

A number of great events for Xlendi in summer

Xlendi will be holding a number of great events this summer, to enhance your relaxed  evenings in this beautiful coastal town in Gozo. The events start on Sunday 15th July, where there will be the traditional illumination of Xlendi Bay with torchlight fires, creating an incredibly romantic atmosphere. This event will start at 20:30 and will go on thoughout the night until 00:30. The Illumination of the bay will happen once again on Saturday the 11th of August and Saturday 1st September.

On Thursday the 26th July, there will be a film screening of "Citizen Kane" by Orson Wells from 1941. There will be another movie screened on Wednesday the 1st of August, "Ladri di Biciclette" by Vittorio De Sica from 1948. On Wednsday the 22nd August, you will have the opportunity to see the famous "Some Like It Hot" featuring Mariln Monroe (1959). Wednesday 5th September brings about "The Gold Rush" featuring Charles Chaplin (1925). The last event of the Xlendi Summer event will be the screening of the film "La Strada" featuring Federico Fellini (1954).
