In Guardia Parade
Join the In Guardia Parade in Fort St. Elmo and inspect the garisson together with the Grand Bailiff of the Knights of St. JohnIn Guardia Parade is a very popular re-enactment held annually from September until November. During the In Guardia Parade, 70 soldiers and knights of the Fort St. Elmo's garrison dress up in uniforms to make the parade as real as possible. The In Guardia Parade depicts a historical event that took place inside Fort St. Elmo which includes the inspection of the fort and its garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St. John in charge of military affairs. The In Guardia Parade is a very exciting and fun event to attend for people of all ages during their holiday in Malta! Do not miss this great opportunity to visit Fort St. Elmo in Valletta, that is otherwise closed during the rest of the year!
