The Roman Inquisition in Malta
Exhibition at the Inquisitor’s PalaceWitchcraft, magical spells, theft and profanationof the sacred and a myriad of other curious episodes from the past are some of the themes of this fascinating exhibition. The exhibition explores the role of the Inquisitor as supreme judge of the Holy Inquisition and an Apostolic Delegate representative of the Papacy. Exhibits include athentic proceedings and magical sheets from the Cathedral Archives, Palace plans from the Vatican Archives, and a number of books originally belonging to the Inquisitor’s own personal library. The exhibition is included in regular admission ticket to the Inquisitor’s Palace. Opening hours: between 09.00 and 17.00hrs (last admission at 16.30hrs).
