Assaggi restaurant offers an interesting menu full of original and creative dishes

Assaggi is small and cosy restaurant tucked away in the heart of St Julian’s, with a very interesting menu and welcoming atmosphere.

Assaggi is run by Ivan Lanzon Miller and his Partner Amanda Savona who are very passionate about food and in fact they create 12 different and original dishes each month for their guests. Ivan and Amanda used to work with Gordon Ramsey at his establishment MAZE in London and the pair gained good insight and knowledge.

Each dish is a smaller focused dish created using meat; fresh fish and seasonal vegetables, giving each dish its own detail and flavour. Doing so, allows guests to taste something new on each visit and leaves them curious and excited for the next dish.

A speciality of Assaggi restaurant is the pork belly cooked for 24 hours and the fresh home-made Cassata Siciliana with a twist, Amanda’s masterpiece, served in a jar, layered with the very best chocolate jelly, home-made sponge, sweet ricotta and topped with a marzipan lid.
