Tal-Familja restaurant serves traditional dishes from Malta and Italy as well as fresh fish with an ever changing menu. The three dining areas in Tal-Familija are decorated in style typical for Malta and the Mediterranean, a rustic style with stone shelves, old paintings and books.

Tal-Familja Restaurant is proud to cook all their food with products from local farmers and producers to ensure the freshest available quality. Starters at Tal-Familja Restaurant include Gozo fried cheese, fresh oysters, homemade pasta, carpaccio di pesce, rabbit liver and their famous shellfish soup. Local fresh fish is recommended for main course and once can choose from local giant prawns, a mixed grill of tuna, swordfish and sea bass, fried octopus or fresh mussels. Desserts are homemade and include hot chocolate pudding topped with a chocolate liquor sauce and vanilla ice-cream or fresh fruit for the health conscious ones.

At Tal-Familja the atmosphere is always welcoming and lively: laughter and chattering is the usual atmosphere you will find. The restaurant is a permanent with Definitively Good Guide and is a great venue for the “Wine & Dine” events, that will allow you to enjoy your dinner while having wine experts brief you on food and wine pairing.
