Mdina Grand Prix 2013

Beautiful cars and raging engines during the Mdina Grand Prix

The Mdina Grand Prix is an event organized by The Valletta Grand Prix Foundation and is an very popular event in Malta. The Mdina Grand Prix an event held over three days, between 10th and 13th October, in the picturesque setting beneath the Bastions of Mdina, Malta’s Old Capital city. There will be a classic car display, timed sprints and demonstration runs with participants from all over Europe attending.

The 2013 Mdina Grand Prix promises to be even more spectacular than last year and with one extra day, there will be more time for  more competitive and social gatherings. This is the perfect event for all car enthusiasts and a great day out for the whole family. This is also a great opportunity to visit the old capital of Malta.

Mdina Grand Prix 2013 Foundations planned activities:

Monday 7th through Thursday 10th October 2013:
Participants from abroad arrive in Malta and will be taken care of and taken on several cultural visits.

Friday 11th October 2013 Concours d’Elegance:
This glamoures and exclusive event will be held at the Cathedral Square in Mdina. The Island’s best classic cars will be joined by our overseas participants, and a festive atmosphere is guaranteed, with live classical music and owners in period attire. 

Saturday 12th October 2013:
This is the day for the participants to practice on the 2.2 kilometre track below the Mdina bastions.

Sunday 13th October 2013:
This will be a packed day, with 70 cars participating. Each group will have two runs in the morning, and two in the afternoon. We are also expecting demonstration runs for classic motorbikes and supercars.
