2013 Birgufest

Birgufest, one of the most awaited events of the year

Birgufest is a very popular event in Malta that takes place each year in the beautiful city of Birgu, also known as Vittoriosa. The 2013 Birgufest will be held between 11-12 October and this is your chance to discover one of the oldest and most historic town in Malta. There will be plenty of activities going on, the most popular one is Birgu by Candlelight.

During Birgu by Candlelight thousands of candles will be lit, highlighting the architectural beauty of the city with several concerts, activities, food stands and fun things to see and do for the whole family.
 
Birgufest is known for its historic re-enactments, musical concerts and a number of  interesting exhibitions. Take the chance of the extended opening hours and cheaper admission prices to the several museums and interesting buildings that will are open for visitors during Birgufest.
