Fort St. Angelo - National & Cinematic Icon at the Inquisitor’s Palace, Birgu

Fort St. Angelo - National & Cinematic Icon is an exhibition that portrays various examples of memorabilia which display Fort St. Angelo as one of Malta’s most popular views, such as postcards, posters, coins and stamps. In the early 20th century, one of Malta’s first Naval cinemas was built within the fort. 

Apart from the items on display, the Fort St. Angelo - National & Cinematic Icon exhibitionalso offers an evocative historic overview of the cinema in Fort St. Angelo with the aid of several original artefacts and film footage relating to cinema heritage in Malta.

The Fort St. Angelo - National & Cinematic Icon exhibitionwill be held inside the Inquisitor’s Palace in the beautiful city of Birgu. Last entry at 16:30.
