Malta Jazz Festival 2011


The Malta Jazz Festival is a long-established open air event that takes place every summer, and has so far proved to be able to get better and better every year.

In 2011 the Malta Jazz Festival will be held in the Ta’ Liesse, in Valletta. The stage will be in a stunning position, beneath the bastions surrounding the World Heritage Capital, surrounded by the Grand Harbour. This year the Malta Jazz Festival has chosen to focus its attention on the world music element.

The Malta Jazz festival will host musicians from Brazil, Jamaica, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Africa, for the summary line up please see below. The Malta Jazz Festival 2011 is held by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts under the artistic direction of local jazz musician Sandro Zerafa.
