The 34th edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu in aid of Richmond Foundation will be held at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia on Saturday 28th November 2009. In this festival participants are encouraged to express themselves through their original songs in Maltese, in a friendly atmosphere.
After last year’s success, this year’s festival will again be unplugged, where all music will be live and only acoustical instruments will be permitted. This year besides Singer-songwriters and bands the organising committee is inviting teams made up of an author and composer, who will choose singer/s and musician/s to interpret their song..
