Gozo 55km Ultra & 21km Trail Run 2015

The Gozo Trail Run is one of the most beautiful and scenic trail races on the international calendar, awarding a UTMB point to finishers and delivering an experience of running through the Mediterranean topography in one day. Along cliff edges, lush valleys and amazing beaches, the Gozo Ultra is a peaceful yet challenging experience. The full distance is 55km with 1500m of total elevation. It is mostly run-able with some short steep or technical parts. A 21km short course race is also organised.

Held in Spring on the sister island of Gozo, the route circumnavigates the island at the perimeter, hardly ever distancing more than a few meters from the sea. The race as a mix of technical trails and easy running, with excellent rest stops and feed stations. Our semi-sufficient race requires participants to carry water and some back up food, however it is a safe and accessible route that reassures participants and their loved ones alike. Indeed, we have more people return to this race every year than we have new participants!

Gozo offers a different lifestyle to Malta, with a laid back and tranquil nature. Restaurants and hotels are excellent and the service meets the expectations of all our participants. We go out of our way to ensure the overall experience is one to take home and tell great stories about to your friends and family.
