Peperoncino Restaurant is perfectly situated in an old town house in Balluta Bay, St Julian’s Malta, and was opened up in 2005 by Miroslav Radonjic and Carla Peralta with a mission to serve good quality food, have excellent service and quality wines and they have certainly succeeded.

Peperoncino has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and the inside dining area is decorated in a traditional yet stylish way. The small and charming outside terrace offers lovely views over Balluta Bay and the beautiful Our Lady of Mount Carmel church. Peperoncino Restaurant serves Maltese, Sicilian and Italian food and has been rated top 3 out of 55 restaurants in St Julian’s, Malta, by TripAdvisor.com.

The passionate chefs and owners created a menu consisting of dishes such as tender suckling pig, tasty lamb rack, homemade creamy rosette paste and much more. Peperoncino’s speciality is fresh fish and vegetarian dishes are also available togehtwe with daily specials.

The extensive wine list at Peperoncino in Malta has been chosen with great care and the knowledgeable staff can always recommend a good wine to go with your meal. The service is first class yet very friendly and welcoming, and its passion for food is evident. Booking is recommended on weekends to avoid disappointment.

This restaurant set in a lovely little street in Balluta Bay is my favorite ,the food is outstanding ,slow cooked suckling pig,tasteful pasta and always local fresh fish .Very friendly and professional service and of course great location we usually start with a drink at City of London ,just opposite , so easy way to entertain your self for a whole night without having to find parking twice..Overall i think this is the best restaurant i have eaten in Malta .Well done to the Chefs and the whole team !

I love this restaurant! The service is always perfect and the food too! I recommend the rosette pasta and the suckling pig :) They also have very good wines!
