Blata l-Bajda is a residential suburb of Ħamrun, in Eastern Malta, on the way to Valletta. There are a few buildings of notice, such as the Chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, St. Joseph School (run by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition) and Spencer Monument. Blata l-Bajda is perhaps mostly famous for Maria Regina Girls Junior Lyceum, a school that caters for over 1000 students coming from the central part of Malta.
