St Paul's Bay

St Paul's Bay (San Pawl il-Bahar in Maltese) derived it's name from the shipwreck of St Paul in AD60. He is believed to have been shipwrecked on St Paul's Isles which are situated in the Bay. A popular tourist resort it forms a major resort combined with Bugibba and Qawra. The bay is beautiful and St Paul's Islet is a focal point of the area. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and hotels in the area and this, coupled with the local scenery, makes St Paul's Bay an excellent place to stay.
